This policy explains what personal data DIG Career Thrust (a sole proprietorship of Ritu Yadav) collects through web.digcareerthrust.com and the Deewane IES & GATE app, why, and your choices. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
What we collect
- Account: your name and mobile number, and email if you give it.
- Learning activity: courses you hold and their validity, test attempts, answers, scores and ranks.
- Payments: order and payment references from Razorpay (amount, date, status). Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay, not by us.
- Technical: login cookies that keep you signed in, and basic server logs (IP address, browser) used for security.
Why we use it
- To create your account, sign you in with OTP and give you access to courses you bought or were given.
- To run tests, calculate scores and ranks, and show your progress.
- To process payments and keep records required by tax and accounting law.
- To send you important messages about your account and courses, and, if you agree, updates about new courses. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.
- To prevent misuse such as account sharing, and to keep the Platform secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with service providers who work for us:
- Google Firebase: sends and verifies login OTPs (your mobile number).
- Razorpay: processes payments.
- Hostinger: hosts the website and its database.
We may also disclose data when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active and for up to 3 years after your last course access ends, and payment records for as long as tax law requires. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for promotional messages, by writing to our Grievance Officer. Deleting your account ends access to your courses.
